Research in our lab seeks to uncover the brain processes involved in “paying attention”. Using an EEG system, we will record the electrical activity produced by your brain while you perform a computer-controlled task involving visual stimuli. We will be studying how well people can respond to a visual target. Participants will wear an electrode cap that contains EEG sensors. These sensors record brain electricity but do not provide any stimulation. In other words, we will measure the brainwaves that you naturally produce.
